Prince Harry and Meghan Markle LIVE: One thing Duchess will 'never' allow Duke to do

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been effectively estranged from the Royal Family since they stepped down from their roles and moved to North America in 2020.

In startling claims on the state of relations between Prince Harry and his family, a royal insider has claimed Meghan Markle could be blocking reconciliation efforts.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's relationship with the Royal Family has been frosty since before they announced plans to quit their roles, as they detailed in several interviews and Harry's book Spare.

Former royal butler Grant Harrold suggested earlier this week that the Firm might agree on burying the hatched if the Duke agreed to apologise for the cutting remarks he made in his autobiography.

But speaking to Sky News Australia, commentator Dee Dee Dunleavy claimed: "(Harry) is not going to apologise, at least not while he is still with Meghan.

"I really do believe he does her bidding and she is never going to allow him to apologise to the family.”

Prince Harry 'deeply regrets' decision which 'threatens whole life plan' now Trump looms

Prince Harry may be harbouring "deep regrets" over a decision that could potentially disrupt his entire life plan, according to Royal expert and author Tom Quinn. The Duke of Sussex, who relocated to the US with wife Meghan Markle in 2020 after stepping back from their senior Royal duties, is said to be already "finding the days long and lonely".

His American dream now faces potential disruption due to the prospect of Donald Trump returning as US President and a lawsuit initiated by The Heritage Foundation, a think tank group.

The lawsuit follows Harry's admission of past drug use in his revealing memoir, Spare. Applicants are required to disclose any history of drug use when completing the form.

In his memoir, Harry candidly shares his encounters with magic mushrooms and cannabis.

David Beckham's 'snub' to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry after bitter 'feud' with Victoria

David Beckham made an appearance in the Royal Box on day one of Wimbledon amid an ongoing rift between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. The former England captain sat in the prestigious booth to watch Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz take on Estonia’s Mark Lajal, as the tennis tournament kicked off on Monday (July 1).

The football legend, 49, attended the tennis match with his mum Sandra and the pair were joined by many star-studded faces, including Jamie Cullen, Alexander Armstrong, and Katherine Jenkins.

David also greeted Sir David Attenborough who was sitting in the Royal Box - and they nodded "hello", before taking their seats. While the Royal Box was filled with famous faces and A-list stars consisting of athletes, actors and presenters, no members of the Royal Family were in attendance. David posed for photos and signed memorabilia for fans at the event.

Feud between William and Sussexes 'personal' after Taylor Swift selfie

A royal expert has claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle won't be happy after Prince William's selfie with Taylor Swift at a recent show.

The Daily Mail's Richard Eden has claimed: “They already fear everyone is ganging up to have a go at them with William leading the charge, so this whole Taylor thing feels very personal, especially because of how big she is right now.”

“In a way, you could say [she is] paying court to Prince William - whereas with Harry and Meghan, it's the other way round.

“They're the ones who seem to be always sucking up to Hollywood royalty.

“They thought when they moved to California, 'we'll be at the centre of this sort of royal court and everyone will come to see us’. But it never seems to be working out like that.”

King Charles and Prince Harry reach 'stalemate' in ongoing royal feud

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are locked in a 'stalemate' with King Charles and Prince William over how best to move forward in the ongoing royal feud, a source tells Express.co.uk.

The source says that tensions between the Sussexes and the rest of the Royal Family have reached fever pitch and there is still “no sign of a reconciliation” between the warring sides.

“Harry and Meghan are expecting an apology and so are senior members of the Royal Family,” the source said. “It’s got to the point now where both sides can’t see where they’ve gone wrong and there’s no meeting in the middle. It’s a stalemate.”

According to the source, Harry is less focused on receiving an apology than his wife, Meghan Markle, and is ready to move forward, though he would appreciate one.

Meghan and Harry 'dumped' by A-lister friends

Speaking to Closer, a source gave their thoughts on Harry and Meghan's relationship with their friends in LA.

The source said: “Their A-list friends that are supportive are few and far between.

"Any chance they had of mending fences with the Beckhams has been squashed by the royals, Tom Cruise has clearly chosen to side with the royals, George and Amal Clooney have all but dumped them too, and even Elton John has been too busy to give them a whole lot of attention.”

Prince Harry's first call after clash with Prince William wasn't to Meghan

Prince Harry has shockingly disclosed that after a heated altercation with his brother Prince William, he did not immediately confide in his wife Meghan.

In his explosive memoir 'Spare', Harry offers an intimate glimpse into royal tensions, portraying himself as the perennial 'spare' to William's 'heir'.

He recounted a particularly intense episode where he alleges William physically assaulted him.

Following the clash, William cautioned Harry, "You don't need to tell Meg about this."

To which Harry retorted, "'You mean that you attacked me? " and William denied it, saying, "I didn't attack you, Harold".

Contrary to what might be expected, Harry first sought solace in his therapist rather than informing Meghan of the incident.

Prince Harry slammed for keeping silent after being offered huge honour

Prince Harry has been slammed for not commenting on being put up for a major award in the USA despite objections to his acceptance of the accolade.

The Duke of Sussex is due to accept the Pat Tillman Award for Service, one named after former NFL player Pat Tillman who left the sport to serve in the US military following 9/11.

However, the decision has been criticised by Pat Tillman’s mother who has expressed discontent at the award going to Harry.

Prince Harry ESPY protested by 50,000 as public 'alienated' by 'lingering' remarks

Prince Harry’s latest award is a reminder of the public’s ill will toward him, says one royal expert.

Harry is scheduled to receive the Pat Tillman Award for Service, which has been very upsetting for the late veteran’s mother, Mary Tillman, and members of the public/

She added: “There was a fairly widespread sense that these had damaged the monarchy and given Queen Elizabeth II an unnecessarily hard time in the final years of her life.”

“Take Harry’s latest award from ESPN, for example, for the Pat Tillman Sports award for veterans and the petition circulating with over 50,000 signatures in protest at this award.”

Prince Harry will 'lash out' when William is King with major move

Prince Harry could utilise his memoirs to try and "turn around" the public's negative view of him after his older brother, Prince William, ascends to the throne, a royal commentator has claimed.

The Duke of Sussex sent shockwaves around the world when he released his memoir, Spare, back in January 2023, which included a number of explosive claims about his life within the Firm.

Harry has previously teased he had enough content to write two books and now royal commentator Kinsey Schofield claimed that the prince will wait until his father, King Charles, "inevitably" passes away and his brother becomes King.

She told her programme Kinsey Schofield Unfiltered: "I do think he would write about his family again. He was waiting to publish a book after [Queen Elizabeth died]. Originally they were saying there was going to be another publication after the [late] Queen died."

Prince Harry struggling with loneliness in US but Meghan in 'natural environment'

Prince Harry is reportedly finding his new life in the United States "finds the day long and lonely" as he lacks practical skills and navigates an "strange unfamiliar world which grows increasingly unfriendly" world, which is a natural environment for his wife Meghan Markle.

This insight comes from a royal expert who suggests that the Duke of Sussex may be experiencing "major regret" as his American dream faces potential disruption.

The couple moved to the US in 2020 after announcing their intention to step down from their senior Royal duties and seek financial independence from the monarchy.

Royal insiders explain Prince Harry's 'deeply personal' note to 'very hurt' father Charles

Prince Harry penned a "deeply personal" letter to his father before returning to the UK for Prince Philip's funeral, as relations "hit rock bottom" after quitting his duties, a royal expert has said.

Amidst preparations to reunite with the family he left behind in 2020, the Duke of Sussex was reportedly compelled to resort to writing the letter to his father due to a "complete communication breakdown".

The then Prince of Wales was left "very hurt" by his son's explosive remarks during the now infamous Oprah Winfrey interview, particularly while the Duke of Edinburgh lay gravely ill.

Insiders close to the Sussexes, who now reside in California with their children Archie and Lilibet, indicated that letters have become Harry's only option to bridge the gap with his estranged father.

Meghan Markle set to be dragged back to court as half-sister Samantha draws battle lines

Meghan Markle could be forced to once again face her half-sister Samantha in court, as the 59-year-old's lawyers are preparing an attempt to overturn the verdict which saw Meghan emerge victorious.

In Meghan and Prince Harry's interview with Oprah Winfrey the Duchess claimed she was principally raised as an only child, adding that Samantha only changed her surname back to Markle "when I started dating Harry".

Lawyers for Samantha Markle argued in a civil lawsuit that these comments were "disparaging, hurtful, and false" and implied that Meghan's sister was "a stranger, a liar, and... [a] deceptive fame-seeking imposter with avaricious intentions".
