GMB reports on Prince Harry's trip to UK

Prince Harry has won the right to appeal a court ruling from earlier this year and asked the judge to speed up the process because he and Meghan have travel plans.

This past February, Harry lost his case against the Home Office to have his police security in the UK reinstated and he lost his first appeal bid. But, his second appeal has been approved, which just came through at the end of May.

According to Angela Levin, Harry's biographer, the duke believes this has gone on long enough with the ligitation spanning two and a half years.

Ms Levin, who spent a year traveling with Harry while working on the biography, Harry: Conversations with the Prince, said: “He wants it done very quickly. He’s been able to appeal against the appeal against the first court case, so this is number three, he owes over a million pounds now, that’s what’s been spent, and he will have to pay it back.”

Ms Levin added: “He’s got the greenlight to take it back to court again, however, he actually said to the judge, ‘Can you please hurry it up, because I’d like it done at the end of the month, or July, because Meghan and I are doing a ‘round the world tour and we want to make sure everything is all right.”

Harry is adamant about this being sorted before their travel plans kick off because he’s concerned about security, it's being reported.

Harry’s request was denied, with the judge saying: “It is rightly not suggested that the claimant is entitled to jump the queue because of his status," reports The Telegraph.

Ms Levin found his request shocking, saying to GB News Presenter Mark Dolan: “Is he going to use our tax money to go all around the world?”

The royal biographer answered her own question, saying: “I think this country will go absolutely mad if they use our money — taxpayers’ money — to go around the world.”

According to Ms Levin, Harry is acting like he is still a senior working royal, in which he is not. He’s concerned about having protection when visiting foreign countries, but he is visiting as a private citizen.

But, no matter what, he is the king’s son, so if he needs security, Ms Levin, and pretty much everyone else who talks about this, believes it will be made sure that he is safe, but it will be handled on a case-by-case situation, not an absolute.
