A "heartwarming" video of Prince Harry has resurfaced from seven years ago, and Royal Family fans reckon it shows just how much the Duke of Sussex is like his mother, Princess Diana.

The video has been shared on X (formerly Twitter) and shows Harry at the Invictus Games - the sports event he founded for injured and sick servicemen and women - in 2017, when it was hosted in Toronto, Canada.

Harry is seen taking in the event from the sidelines, watching on with a bowl of popcorn, initially oblivious to the fact that the young girl sitting next to him is stealing his snacks.

The Duke of Sussex then realises what's happening and jokingly pulls the popcorn away from the girl before handing her some. He repeatedly pulls the popcorn away before offering it her back, all while he and the woman looking after the young girl are giggling.

The Royal Family's official YouTube channel shared the clip the day after it happened. The description of the video identified the girl as two-year-old Emily Henson, the daughter of Harry's close friend, British paralympian Dave Henson.

Reacting to the clip on X, one Royal Family fan made a comparison with Diana. They said: "Prince Harry is more like his mother Diana, while his brother is more like Charles." A second said: "He would make his mom very proud."

Another wrote: "Watching Prince Harry share his popcorn with that little girl at the Invictus Games was such a heartwarming moment! It goes to show that kindness and generosity know no bounds, even when it comes to sharing snacks.

"It's the small, unexpected gestures like these that can brighten someone's day and create unforgettable memories. Lets all take a page out of Prince Harry's book and spread a little more joy in the world, one popcorn kernel at a time!"

A fourth said: "The nice thing about this is that it actually seems organic and genuine. It doesn’t look like something they staged for publicity."

Interestingly, the opening of the Invictus Games in 2017 also marked Harry's first public appearance with then-girlfriend Meghan Markle. Perhaps aware of this, another commenter said: "My man was so happy before marriage."
