Meghan Markle given key piece of advice to avoid sparking royal backlash to new podcast
EXCLUSIVE: With information still vague, a PR expert has weighed in on when Meghan Markle should release her forthcoming podcast series.
Meghan Markle has been urged to think clearly about not timing her podcast release with "any recurring royal events".
The release date for Meghan's forthcoming as-of-yet-untitled podcast has not been revealed, although the chosen date is likely to lead to some speculation.
Other than the news of Meghan's sign to Lemonada Media and that she will release a new podcast series, current information is very limited.
The title of the series still remains unknown, as does exactly what topics Meghan will choose to cover.
Discussing the release date of the podcast, Moda PR's director Ashley Rudd has advised Meghan to think carefully about the timing.

Speaking to Express.co.uk, Ms Rudd said: "Meghan needs to be considerate with strategic timing and recurring events that align with the Royal Family such as Trooping the Colour, birthdays etc."
Stating why Meghan should avoid doing this, she added: "Releasing episodes around these times could be seen as an attempt to override and have negative backlash from the public, detract from the podcast's reputation and generate unwanted attention."
Ms Rudd also claimed that, in terms of content, Meghan could likely coincide it with her "charitable endeavours".
She added: "[It] will likely coincide with broader cultural conversations or movements" such as releasing episodes on mental health around mental health awareness month."
The upcoming podcast will be Meghan's second attempt at podcasting, with it now being almost two years since the release of Archetypes.
Meghan only released one series for Archetypes, with a dozen released over the course of a few months in 2022.
Any potential hopes for a second series were dashed last year, after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's deal with Spotify came to an end in June.
Along with the release of a new series, Meghan's deal with Lemonada Media means that Archetypes will also be "available to stream on all audio platforms".
