Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly confident of bouncing back this year, but a royal author believes they will have to make huge changes.
Expert says Harry and Meghan need to 'find something new to say' in 2024
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's reported "year of redemption" plan for 2024 has been questioned by a royal author, who quipped: "Good luck with that."
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex encountered a difficult 2023 after being on the receiving end of a furious backlash after bombshell claims they made against the Royal Family which saw their popularity plunge.
The Sussexes saw their multi-million-pound agreement with Spotify end. They were also brutally mocked in episodes of South Park and Family Guy and were branded some of Hollywood's "biggest losers" by an outlet described as a "bible" of showbiz.
Harry and Meghan reportedly want 2024 to be their "year of redemption" but that phrase has been torn apart by a royal author.
Phil Dampier said: "Harry and Meghan have let it be known that they see 2024 as their year of redemption, to which my reaction is good luck with that.

"It’s a trite phrase dreamt up by their Hollywood PR people and in reality means very little.
"Actions speak louder than words and the Sussexes need to do things which will convince the public on both sides of the Pond that they want to redeem themselves, not just talk about it.”
Dampier also claimed Harry and Meghan "can’t hold a candle" to Prince William and Princess Kate in the popularity stakes.
He told Fabulous: "I think the penny has finally dropped with them [the Sussexes] that they can never compete with an ancient institution admired around the world, particularly the goodwill still lingering from the late Queen’s reign.
