Princess Anne joins royals for Christmas Day service after being forced to skip last year
Princess Anne is back where she belongs for Christmas Day at Sandringham after illness put her out of action in 2022.
Princess Anne has been pictured with the Royal Family dressed in an elegant white coat attending the Christmas Day service at St Mary Magdalene church in Sandringham, after she was forced to miss last year's.
The Princess Royal did not attend church last year as she had a cold, although it is not known if she travelled to the royal Norfolk estate at all or if she remained home at Gatcombe Park in Gloucestershire for Christmas.
Her children Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall attended with the rest of the royals as they brought their own families to Sandringham for the family festivities.
Anne has five grandchildren in total, Peter's daughters Savannah and Isla with his ex-wife Autumn Kelly, and Zara and her husband Mike Tindall's children Mia, Lena and Lucas.
All the families will be at Sandringham again in 2023 for an extended celebration, as Queen Camilla's children and grandchildren have also been invited for Christmas Day.

Tom Parker Bowles and his sister Laura Lopes, the Queen's son and daughter from her previous marriage to Andrew Parker Bowles, have brought their own families along for Christmas.
Food critic Tom has daughter Lola and son Freddy with his ex-wife Sara Buys, whilst Laura is an art curator and has daughter Eliza and twin sons Gus and Louis with her husband Harry Lopes.
Royal watchers may recognise Camilla's grandsons from the Coronation back in May, where they acted as her Pages of Honour alongside her grand-nephew Arthur Elliot.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are still not invited however, despite positive signs that relations could be easing between the Sussexes and the Firm following the contact they had with the King for his 75th birthday.
Sadly the publication of Omid Scobie's Endgame a couple of weeks later seems to have set back their potential reconciliation, as Charles is desperate to see more of his grandchildren Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The couple last spent Christmas in Sandringham in 2018, when Meghan was still pregnant with Archie, as the following year they decided to travel to California to spend it with her mother Doria Ragland.
