Prince Archie to miss seeing his dad for second year in a row for his fourth birthday
Prince Harry has confirmed he will attend his father's Coronation - but he will not be with his wife Meghan Markle.
Prince Harry 'struggled being full time royal' says expert
Prince Harry's confirmation that he will attend King Charles III's Coronation at Westminster Abbey on May 6 means the Duke of Sussex will miss son Prince Archie's birthday for the second year in a row. Harry will travel to the UK for the lavish service - but wife Meghan Markle will remain behind in California with Archie, who turns four that day, and their one-year-old daughter Princess Lilibet.
Harry missed Archie's third birthday in 2022 because he was playing polo that day.
The 38-year-old will be one of more than 2,000 guests at the massive Coronation ceremony which will be watched by millions of people around the globe.
It will mark the first time he will have been seen with the British royals since the publication of his controversial memoir, Spare, in January.
The question of whether or not the Sussexes would be attending has been the subject of intense speculation in recent weeks, with the coronation less than a month away.
Now Buckingham Palace has confirmed what many had suspected - namely that Meghan would give the event a miss.
Archie - who is seventh in line to the throne - is the cousin of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, the children of the Prince and Princess of Wales.
