New details regarding Prince Harry's upcoming tell-all memoir were released last week.
Royal Family 'Don't know much about' Harry's memoir says Palmer
Prince Harry's memoir's title, Spare, and completed front cover were revealed to the public, however it has been suggested that, ahead of the announcement, the Royal Family knew very little. Speaking on the latest Daily Express' Royal Round-Up, royal correspondent Richard Palmer tells host Pandora Forsyth that the Royal Family only given a "heads up".
Mr Palmer told host Pandora Forsyth: "I think they were given no real notice.
"They probably knew that a press release was going out."
He added: "The date was leaked to the New York Times the night before.
"I think there was a little bit of, you know, just a heads up to say [this is happening]."

In regards to the content of the memoir, Mr Palmer concluded: "I don't think they know much about what's in the book at all."
The highly-anticipated memoir will finally be going on sale on January 10, 2023.
Harry's publisher Penguin Random House claimed that the book will detail with "raw unflinching honesty" and share his journey from "trauma to healing".
They added: "For Harry, this is his story at last".

The chosen title is a reference to the phrase 'the spare and the heir'.
Many fears have escalated over the upcoming memoir as it is could be set to contain attacks against the Royal Family.
This is triggered from the bombshell interview that Harry and Meghan gave with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021.

Previously speaking on the Royal Round-up, Mr Palmer warned that the memoir could "reopening old wounds".
Not only will the book potentially "reopen" wounds but it will be done "very publicly".
