Eugenie and Beatrice 'remind' Queen of 'relationship with Margaret': 'Adores them'
PRINCESS EUGENIE and Princess Beatrice are adored by the Queen, as they remind the monarch of her relationship with her late sister Princess Margaret, royal expert Tom Quinn claimed.

The sisters are incredibly close, while the births of their respective children have been morsels of good news for the Royal Family in a difficult year.
Eugenie and Beatrice also have a close relationship with the Queen, who is said to dote on her two granddaughters.
Speaking on Channel 5 documentary ‘Beatrice and Eugenie: Pampered Princesses?’, which aired last year, royal expert Tom Quinn suggested that Beatrice and Eugenie’s close bond reminds the Queen of her relationship with her sister.
Tom Quinn said the Queen “adores” Beatrice and Eugenie and she sees “something of her own relationship as a child with Princess Margaret.”
Margaret died in 2002 at the age of 71, just weeks after the death of the Queen Mother.
The Queen had always been close to her sister, despite Margaret being a notorious party animal.
In the same documentary, the narrator explained: “Beatrice and Eugenie were also doted on by their grandparents.
“The Yorks lived a short drive from Windsor Castle and visited often.”
Royal author Ingrid Seward added: “They would often go and have tea with the Queen and Prince Philip.
“Again, Fergie said they had three sets of manners: One was for her, one was for when they were out and the third was when they were with the Queen.”
Another similarity between Eugenie and Beatrice and the monarch is that, before the Abdication Crisis, Her Majesty was also a York sister.
Before the Queen’s father went on to be King George VI, upon Edward VIII walking away from the throne, he was a Duke of York, meaning that for a time the Queen herself was a York sister.

Beyond the obvious parallels between Her Majesty and Beatrice and Eugenie, royal expert Angela Levin claimed the Queen has been “maternal” of their princesses, as they are children of divorce.
Ms Levin said: “It’s always very difficult for children to see their parents split up.
“And I think perhaps the Queen even felt more maternal towards them.
“They’d had a very hard time.”
Beatrice was just three, while Eugenie was days away from celebrating her second birthday when their parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson announced their separation in 1992, with the divorce finalised four years later.
The sisters have grown up to have an incredibly strong bond despite their difference in personalities.
In 2008, just before her 18th birthday, Eugenie gave her first ever interview to the Telegraph, and opened up about her love for her sister.
She said: “We got on fantastically well, perhaps because we do and think different things.
“I am definitely not as polite as Beatrice, I have to say, I tell it as it is.
“I am shyer at first, like at a party I will say to Beatrice as we go in, ‘Oh you go first’.
“But then when we’re actually in, I am much louder and she is far more polite and solicitous.”
