Election 2015: George Galloway LOSES seat and reported for 'breaking election laws'
GEORGE Galloway has been reported to police for allegedly breaking election laws.
Galloway allegedly retweeted an exit poll before voting finished
It is claimed that the Respect Party leader committed an offence earlier today by tweeting about exit polls before the polls closed at 10pm.
Galloway, who lost his seat in Bradford West to Labour's Naseem Shah, allegedly retweeted the party's own exit poll before voting finished.
He was reported by Bradford Council's returning officer.
It is illegal to discuss voting while the polls are still open, under section 66 of the Representation of the People's Act.
The tweet has since been deleted.

Galloway lost his seat in Bradford West to Labour
This is not the first time Galloway has ended up in hot water over election laws.
Last month he was accused by Labour, his former party, of making false statements about Shah.
Shah had previously written about being sent to Pakistan and forced to get married at the age of 15.
At a hustings, Galloway produced what he said was a wedding certificate showing that Shah was not the victim of a forced marriage – calling her a "liar".
Labour said that her original certificate proved she was a minor at the time.
The marriage was re-registered when she was 16 so that her Pakistani husband could get a UK residence visa.
