Donald Trump has congratulated Nigel Farage following the Reform UK leader's election triumph.

Taking to Truth Social, Mr Trump said: "Congratulations to Nigel Farage on his big WIN of a Parliament Seat Amid Reform UK Election Success. Nigel is a man who truly loves his Country! DJT."

Mr Farage confidently projected his party would secure a strong second place in numerous constituencies.

He highlighted the "massive gap" on the right of British politics, declaring it his mission to fill that void.

This news arrives hot on the heels of footage capturing Donald Trump delivering a profanity-laden tirade against Joe Biden from his golf cart just the day before, coupled with a brutal swipe at VP Kamala Harris.

The 78-year-old former president was spotted in his golf gear, nonchalantly sharing his vulgar commentary, boasting: "How did I do with the debate the other night? I kicked that old, broken-down pile of c**p. He's quitting the race" - a claim vehemently refuted by Democrats this week, reports the Mirror.

Trump then proceeded to lambast Harris as the potential Democrat nominee, branding her "so f****g bad" and "pathetic". The video seemingly shows Barron Trump seated next to his father during the outburst.

In contrast, during a Wednesday call with campaign staff, President Joe Biden reportedly reassured them with a firm declaration: "No one is pushing me out."

The bold and defiant assertion arises amidst swirling rumours that key figures within his own party are plotting to oust him as the presidential nominee as he prepares for a re-election bid this November.

An aide from the campaign, choosing to remain anonymous, confided to The Associated Press about the content of the phone call while three additional insiders disclosed to the outlet that both President and Vice President Kamala Harris surprisingly joined a separate phone call on the same day with members of the Democratic National Committee.

"I am running. I am the leader of the Democratic Party. No one is pushing me out," asserted the senior aide, with the comments later posted on X.

Other sources divulged that the subsequent discussion with the Democratic National Committee served as a morale-boosting exercise, highlighting the critical nature of the looming election, as committee members urged Biden to stay true to his word following the disastrous debate last Thursday.

During that encounter, he had vowed to bounce back despite the savage verbal pummelling from his political nemesis, ex-President and Republican stalwart Donald Trump.
