Nigel Farage's Reform Party will release a political broadcast just hours before tonight's 7-way General Election debate on ITV.

Farage teased the video, which airs at 7.55pm on Channel 4, saying he was "amazed" passed compliance rules.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, he said: “The Reform Party will release one of the most exciting party election broadcasts ever produced,” Mr Farage wrote.

“I’m amazed it even got past compliance, but we did it. You won’t want to miss this.”

The Reform leader will clash with six other politicians in a fiery debate on ITV tonight.

ITV wil host a 90-minute debate, moderated by Julie Etchingham, which will include Penny Mordaunt for the Conservative Party.

Angela Rayner will represent the Labour Party, Daisy Cooper for Liberal Democrats, Stephen Flynn for SNP, Carla Denyer for the Green Party and Rhun ap Iorwerth for Plaid Cymru.

Mr Farage is campaigning to be the next MP in Clacton, Essex.

During events in recent days, he has been pelted with wet cement and had a milkshake thrown at him.

But the Reform leader said is determined to continue engaging with members of the public.

He has said he wants to lead a “national opposition” to Labour if Sir Keir Starmer’s party wins the general election.
