You don’t have to look into a crystal ball to see the two options before you. The choice is clear.

Vote for the Conservatives and you will get tax cuts. Vote for any other party and you will get higher taxes. That’s it. It is that simple.

Only Conservatives believe in lower taxes. People know how to spend their own money far better than the state ever could.

Putting more money into your pockets goes to the heart of what we believe.

That is why we have always put cutting taxes for working people first.

Since January we have cut the taxes of the average worker by £900, putting more money back in the pockets of hard-working people.

That is money that makes a difference.

In that time, we have had three generational shocks to the economy. Recovering from the financial crash. The pandemic. The spike in energy prices triggered by the war in Ukraine.

But we have made cutting taxes for hard-working people our priority. It is no surprise that an average worker is facing the lowest tax rate on their earnings that they have seen in this country for over 50 years.

We have set this direction of travel, and we will go even further now.

We will cut national insurance further – saving the average worker an additional £450 by 2027. We will abolish self-employed national insurance contributions to support our risk-taking entrepreneurs – the powerhouse of our economy. We still stop the state pension being dragged into income tax for the first time in history with the Triple Lock Plus so that pensioners can have peace of mind in retirement.

Labour would undo this good work because they don’t want you to keep more of your money.

They can talk a big game but we all know it’s the same old Labour. If they got hold of the country’s purse strings, they would do as Labour has always done. Once they run out of money they will come for your wallet.

Higher taxes. Higher unemployment. More red tape for businesses.

Voting for anyone other than the Conservatives will guarantee that future for you, your family and our country.

There is so much at stake in this election. What is more important than the financial security of you and your family? Don’t throw it all away now.
