Optical illusions are great indicators of intelligence and can give intriguing insights into your IQ.

These brain-busting images are not only fun, they can also trick your eyesight and keep your cognitive abilities in top form. Indeed, tackling brainteasers regularly is touted by experts as an excellent mental workout, with each puzzle completed making the next one that bit easier.

The latest viral sensation on TikTok is an optical illusion image which left people scratching their heads and it's said to reveal key aspets of their personality. The user @0ptical_illusi0ns, who has a following nearing 1,000, posted an image which sent viewers into a meltdown.

Accompanying the image, the caption asked: "Do you see the animals?" The video clip teases: "You need to get tested! Did you see the gorilla and lion first? Or the tree?" It then explains what spotting either element supposedly says about someone's character.

If you happened to notice the animals first, you're likely leading a life filled with bold adventures and memorable experiences. Conversely, if the tree caught your attention initially, you possess a serenity and strength that others find admirable.

Brains are intricate organs, and while the basic functions are similar in everyone, we all experience emotions differently. Optical illusions can often reveal unique traits about an individual.

It's important to remember that perceptions of illusions can vary from person to person.

What you perceive may not be what your friend does. Your brain doesn't merely process information it constructs a perception of the world meaning you fill in the gaps.

This can even lead to the creation of images in your mind that don't actually exist.
