A cleanfluencer was shocked by how dirty her floors had been after taking a 'viral scrub brush' and giving them a proper good clean.

Cleaning floors is a household task that many people would rather not do, and some actively avoid.

However, it’s best to do it frequently as grime can build up from shoes, pets, kids, and more - so when you get round to it, it may be “disgusting”, like one woman’s floors were on TikTok when she got round to it.

Bethan, who posts on TikTok as @bethandoeslife, urged her followers to “clean with me”, admitting that she’d left her floors for a while so they were “disgusting”.

She said she was using the “viral scrub brush”, which has seen many cleanfluencers achieve amazing results, but it sells out so fast so can be tough to get hold of.

Bethan said that it was here to “save” her floors.

She worried that she'd used too much water, saying: “We live and we learn.” It could be seen turning a gross murky grey colour as she used the brush.

“I can’t lie, this was so satisfying to do [...] just look at how much cr*p and dirt is coming off my floors,” she boasted.

Bethan said she “didn’t realise they were that bad”, so it was good she’d managed to get round to it when she did. She added that now she had “this beautiful thing” she was going to use the brush “constantly”, joking she’d be washing her floors “every day”.

At the end of the video, she moved all the water into the middle of the floor and then wiped it away with kitchen roll, as she commented again about how “disgusting” it was.

She was “embarrassed” about the colour of the water, but she said it “just proves how well this brush works”.

In the comments, people complained that the brush was already out of stock again, and Bethan said they “sell out so quick”. It is available on Amazon here, and currently appears to be in stock.
