She said: “If you want to increase your chances of growing as many strawberries as you can for the season, this is what you have to do.

“You may see these shoots coming out, but what will happen is all the energy of the plant is going to go to the shoots instead of growing strawberries from the actual plant.
“So what you need to do is take this shoot and just replant it in your soil.”

She said: “Make a little hole, replant this little shoot, and once you do this you should increase your chances of yielding more strawberries, especially if you grew it from seed like us,” she finished off.
