Dunelm’s three seater bench with built in table has £38 off and ‘does not disappoint’

A nifty bench with a built in pop-up table has seen its price fall by almost £38 in Dunelm’s latest sale. A price history checker shows the Richmond Acacia Wood Bench usually costs £189 but currently has 20% off for a limited time, making it £151.20.

The bench is made from solid acacia wood and can seat up to three people when the central table section is down. Meanwhile the pop-up central section means a couple would have a handy place to put a cuppa and plate of toast while enjoying the garden in the morning. 

Dunelm says the wooden bench “will add timeless and useful design to your outdoor living space or garden”, adding “made from durable solid acacia wood, you can enjoy the durable and decorative elements of this delightful looking bench.”

There haven’t been many reviews left to date, but so far none have dropped below four stars. 

One said: “Very happy with our new bench. Good size to sit two comfortably while middle section pops up as a very useful table. Would recommend two people assembly as screws proved a little tricky but well worth the effort.”

Another added: “Love it very easy to put together, did it all by myself.”

A third said: “The bench was delivered by DHL a couple of days late without explanation. Apart from that, the bench Does not disappoint.”

It is worth noting that the bench does require assembly and measures H 88cm x W 155cm x D 60cm, so it’s worth checking it will fit in the space you have in mind before buying. There are lots of other bench options out there too if you’re keen to upgrade your outdoor furniture setup. 

Amazon sells the Keter Eden Bench 265L, which also doubles up as a storage box, for £125, while it’s slightly cheaper at Wickes where it’s £110. 

Dunelm’s Cambridge 2 Seater Acacia Wood Bench is another stylish option that’s cheaper still at £95.20, while M&S sells a stylish bench with heart-like curves for £169.
