Hathaway to make Oscars a family affair

Hollywood actress ANNE HATHAWAY is determined to bring her entire family to the upcoming Oscars ceremony - because she wants them all to be there in case she wins her first Academy Award.

The Devil Wears Prada star is nominated in the Best Actress category for her role in Rachel Getting Married and will be up against Angelina Jolie (Changeling), Melissa Leo (Frozen River), Meryl Streep (Doubt) and Kate Winslet (The Reader).

And Hathaway is planning to snare as many tickets as possible to the 22 February (09) ceremony - because she doesn't know whether she will ever be invited back.

She tells People.com, "I'm taking my dad. Hopefully, if I can squeeze a few more tickets, I'm going to see if I can take my brother and my mom. This is my first, maybe my only, time going. Hopefully not! My family is the most important thing in the world to me. I definitely wanted them by my side."
