Ozzy Osbourne, the 75-year-old rock legend and former Black Sabbath frontman, has been captured in a moving video as he prepared for a rare autograph signing session. The video, shared by his son Jack Osbourne on social media, shows Ozzy practising his signature using a blue stretch band, as his health struggles continue.

In the clip, Ozzy, wearing a black T-shirt with his long, greying hair cascading around his face, can be seen shakily signing his name while Jack encourages him to go “faster, faster”.

Despite his frailty, Ozzy is determined to attend the meet-and-greet at Monsterpalooza in mid-October.

“We are in full [autograph] training mode for @monsterpaloozaofficial,” Jack wrote to his 889,000 Instagram followers, adding the event would be held on October 12 and 13.

He was inundated with support from his fans, with one saying: "Go Ozzy Go!" And another encouraged: "Rooting for you!"

Ozzy, who suffers from Parkinson's disease and relies on a wheelchair and crutches, revealed in a podcast episode of Madhouse Chronicles that he still occasionally consumes marijuana.

"I am happier, but I am not completely sober. I use a bit of marijuana from time to time," he said candidly.

The rock star expressed his gratitude for his wife, Sharon Osbourne, for helping him stay on track. “I am lucky my wife kicks my butt all the time and she would make life so difficult. Even with marijuana — she will f***ing find it and get rid of it," Ozzy said.

The father-of-six said: "I went to a doctor recently and started to have this ketamine.

"He put a tiny bit in me, but that was enough to spark me. That thing came back and weighted my brain."

He also confessed that Alcoholics Anonymous "got me sorted out to a certain degree. I do not go to meetings myself anymore," adding: "Maybe I should go, I don't know."

Ozzy’s battle with his health has been ongoing, with seven surgeries over the past five years, including a significant spinal surgery in September 2023. In addition to Parkinson’s, he has faced other medical challenges, which have caused delays in his plans to move back to the UK.

As Sharon shared on their family podcast: “It just seems that every time we’re set to go [back to England], something happens with Ozzy’s health.”

Reflecting on his health struggles and desire to return home, Ozzy stated in 2022, “I don’t want to die in America... I’m English. I want to be back. ... It’s just time for me to come home.”
