She performed in a music video for the new track - now titled ‘Ooh Aah Just a Lidl Bit’ - which has been inspired by the budget supermarket's middle aisle and Lidl Plus app.

It also features cameos from star of the Traitors Diane Carson and viral comedian Charity Shop Sue.

Martine shot to fame in her role as Tiffany Mitchell in Eastender before starring in Love Actually, and released four studio albums, with her debut ‘You Me & Us’ peaking at number two in the charts.

She said: “From getting my hands on all the fizzy rosé I could ask for, to living out my middle aisle fantasies in the music video, it’s been incredible to be part of the action.”

The song will be given its live debut at the #LiveLaughLidl brunches, which will see an appearance from another Eastender favourite, Cheryl Fergison - renowned for her portrayal of Heather Trott.

While in London, Charity Shop Sue will be mingling with the crowds in the capital. The events are being hosted by Lidl, with Hunsnet, an internet community celebrating all aspects of ‘hun life’, founded by Gareth Howells.

Each of the brunches will include an array of ‘hun’ inspired performances, games, food, and prosecco.

While the events had previously sold-out Lidl is releasing a limited number of additional tickets for both London and Manchester, which will go on sale from Thursday 10th October at 10am.

Martine added: “I’m so excited to be joining Gareth on stage as part of the Live, Laugh, Lidl Brunches, and I cannot wait for guests to witness the first-ever performance of the song.”
