Zac Efron breaks silence on hospital dash after 'swimming pool accident' in Ibiza

Zac Efron is back doing what he does best following his hospital scare.

The High School Musical star has spoken out after being taken to a hospital in Spain following an "incident in a swimming pool" at a villa in Ibiza on Friday night.

The Hollywood hunk, 36, took to his Instagram Story on Sunday to share a photo of himself balancing on an exercise ball as he lifted a set of huge barbells topless, of course.

"Happy and Healthy, thanks for the well wishes," Zac wrote in the top right corner of the post.

Zac's post comes after sources told TMZ that he was "found inside the swimming pool by two people working at the villa who pulled him out of the water".

Thankfully his representative confirmed to the outlet that Zac was hospitalized "as a precautionary measure" following a "minor" incident.

They added that the Iron Claw actor is "recovering just fine."

He was released from the hospital on Saturday morning.

This hospital dash comes more than a decade after he "shattered" his jaw after he slipped on a pair of socks while running at his home, which caused him to smash his chin into a granite fountain.

In 2022, he recalled to Men's Health Magazine that he lost consciousness only to wake up with "his chin bone hanging off his face."

He added that when he was injured, the masseter muscles on the inside of his face and jaw then "compensated" for his injury causing them to grow in size - explaining his impressive transformation.

Zac went on to explain that was the reason why he looked so different at the time, following rumors he had undergone a cosmetic makeover.

"The masseters just grew. They just got really, really big," he insisted.
