Helen George has allegedly signed up to celebrity dating app Raya in a bid to find love following her romance with her BBC co-star. The Call the Midwife actress, 40, ended up with her onscreen husband, Olly Rix.

The duo grew close after helping each other through one of the darkest times in their lives. Both Helen and Olly split from their spouses back in 2023 and found a deeper friendship.

According to the Mirror, she has built a profile on the prestigious site which promotes “professional networking and social discovery.” Helen played Trixie on the popular show, while Olly played her onscreen husband Matthew Aylward.

In her bio, Helen describes herself as an actor and says she likes to go to hotels, restaurants and bars while delving into meditation. She also said that she enjoys going to the theatre and travelling.

She is following in the footsteps of Hollywood sensations Channing Tatum and Drew Barrymore. Back in 2019 British music sensation Lily Allen met her now husband David Harbour.

Lily, 39, admitted that she swiped through his page and they began dating within weeks – the following year the pair tied the knot in a Las Vegas ceremony.

Helen’s bid for love came after a devastating breakup with Jack Ashton. Back in July 2023 after seven years together, Helen decided to call it quits.

Around the same time, Olly separated from his girlfriend Natasha Fagri. Months later the duo were snapped leaving his London abode.

This sparked rumours of a growing connection between the pair who were spotted taking her beloved dog out for a walk.

However, things quickly cooled off after they decided to unfollow each other on social media which left fans shocked.

A source told the Sun at the time: “They were there for each other in the wake of their splits. But it seems they are no longer close and have made this clear by removing each other on social media.

“Olly even went one step further and deleted a picture of him and Helen from Instagram.”

However, in November last year, he reunited with his ex-Natasha at a Notting Hill café, just weeks after they split.

They put on an amicable display as they greeted each other with a hug and chatted inside the café. Although it has not been reported that they have got back together.

The Express have contacted Helen for a comment.
