Ruth Langsford has taken to social media to share a message about 'danger' as ex-husband Eamonn Holmes jetted off on a romantic holiday with his new girlfriend Katie Alexander
Ruth Langsford has cryptically posted about "danger" while her former husband Eamonn Holmes is off enjoying sun-soaked moments with his new love interest.
The erstwhile This Morning duo, both aged 64, went their separate ways earlier this year after a marriage that spanned two decades. Their union, which lasted 14 years, came to an abrupt end in May when they publicly confirmed their separation.
Eamonn has since found companionship with Katie Alexander, 42, and the pair are currently basking in the glow of a late summer getaway.
The GB News presenter and his partner were spotted at Barcelona port, with Eamonn utilising a mobility scooter as he was accompanied by Katie. This lavish escapade has reportedly left Ruth and her circle utterly astonished.
While Eamonn relished his time abroad with Katie, Ruth remained in the UK, engaging with her social media followers, reports the Mirror.
She began her day indulging in a hearty cooked breakfast and later on, shared an image of a luxurious hot chocolate, complete with choco wafers and wafer rolls, captioning it with a simple "Uh oh!!! " and a bold red "danger" sticker.
After moving out from the residence he once shared with Ruth, Katie became a frequent visitor. A confidant disclosed to The Sun regarding their romantic voyage said: "The cruise is just the latest proof of their closeness. Katie has been telling pals she and Eamonn are going to be for keeps - and now everyone is starting to believe her."
Sources revealed: "Eamonn's zest for her - the latest being this all-expenses-paid trip - has wowed Ruth and pals. He has found a new lease of life for sure. Everyone is amazed."
Despite the separation, Ruth, who continues to wear her wedding ring as does Eamonn.
It's understood that Ruth is eager to "draw a line" under her marriage with Eamonn.
A close source reveals Ruth has been trying her best to be respectful to Eamonn for the sake of both their families and especially Jack.
She is still wearing her wedding ring and doesn't feel right taking it off at the moment, she wants to be as respectful as possible and does not want to invite any more speculation about their situation, as disclosed to OK!Magazine.
