A fan of Jeremy Clarkson who visited his Diddly Squat Farm was left frustrated after being forced to opt against using the site's shop.

Former Top Gear host Clarkson has been farming at Diddly Squat since 2021 and has since recorded three Amazon Prime series about life there.

Due to the show's popularity, the Oxfordshire farm has been inundated with tourists checking the farm out for themselves, hoping to catch a glimpse of Clarkson and his co-stars including Kaleb Cooper and Charlie Ireland.

One of those visitors - TikTok user Vian's World - took a trip there recently and shared a short clip of their day on the social media platform. After treating herself to a meal and a jar of the farm's Bee Juice honey, sadly there was no time to explore what Diddly Squat's farm shop had on offer, however.

Asked by a concerned follower about queues, Vian's World responded: "There was a very long queue to get into the farm shop probably over an hour so we didn’t end up going in. But the food queue wasn’t bad at all."

It appears Vian's World isn't the only one to experience the problem, judging by some of Diddly Squat's reviews on TripAdvisor. One visitor moaned about their day: "Arrived at the car park was not expecting the amount of cars parked up everywhere. Was chucking it down with rain umbrellas out and coats on. We jumped over the massive puddles in the car park and joined the queue got very muddy shoes. Took over an hour to finally get to the shop, spent a fortune."

A second reviewer had to endure a much longer queue, but shared a glowing report afterwards. "Happened to go on the busiest week day they had all year!" they wrote. "Parked up ok in the field, I think they are working on a new car park by the shop. We had a 2 1/4 hour queue to get into the farm shop. Its worth it though as wanted to go for ages. Plenty for sale so I bought a few things, lager, ginger ale, vodka, crisps and fudge."

Whilst a third offered their own insight: "We went early but still had an hour and a half queue wait to get to the shop. Luckily, the weather was okay, and the people around us friendly. You can order food and drinks from the back of the shop whilst you wait. The shop itself is small but is kept well stocked by great staff. It's so expensive so we only got a couple of bits."

Despite the negative feedback, Diddly Squat Farm has a TripAdvisor score of 3.5 out of 5 after 525 reviews. A recent visitor was clearly delighted with their day out, awarding the farm top marks.

"Easy to find with plenty of parking (although some plonkers still park on the road)," they joked. "We arrived for opening and had 25min wait, which was fine as sun was shining. Staff helpful and friendly. Shop prices generally no more expensive than any farm shop. Good range of interesting stock.

"Had drinks and food in the lambing barn, was scrumptious and not over priced, no long queues or waits here. I was pleased to see vegetarian options on the menu too. Lovely views and plenty of room to sit and soak it all up. Spent a couple of hours here and was well worth a visit."
