Eamonn Holmes mixes up his days on GB News

Eamonn Holmes is showing his ex Ruth Langsford he's doing just fine without her - despite his recent health woes.

The GB News presenter, who split from his wife of 14 years in May, took to Instagram on Thursday to share a midday selfie.

Eamonn, 64, appeared to be sitting in the passenger seat of a car as he smouldered for the camera. He looked rather dapper in a navy quarter zip jumper, which he wore over a white crew neck t-shirt.

The former This Morning host had his grey hair swept to one side and had a happy glow about him.

"Beautiful Hot day today. Enjoying the cool shade in the car. What you up to?" he captioned the selfie. And it didn't take long for fans to swoon over the TV personality.

One fan @clarabellaharkin commented: "Eamon, you’re a babe," as @baileyquinn1111 gushed: "Hello handsome," followed by a lovestruck face emoji.

With a third person @binglejac echoing: "Looking good handsome."

Aside from hundreds of compliments, other fans let Eamonn know what they were up to on the day, like user @wilmaorr who shared: "Having a wee ham bap for lunch at my home in sunny Newtownards, you're looking well Eamonn."

And fan @margoandteddyshow wrote: "Living my best life....sitting in Ligoniel Road watching Bargain Hunt in my pyjamas."

Eamonn also sparked confusion as he randomly left a comment which read: "Thank u for saying so Ruth," as he seemingly posted a new comment instead of replying to a fan named Ruth. He also posted sad emojis and a thumbs up emojis.

The positive selfie comes on the heels of a recent health scare for Eamonn after he was forced off the air during one of his recent GB News breakfast shows.

On the Tuesday, June 2 instalment, the Irish broadcaster sparked concern when he suddenly disappeared from his regular spot on the show halfway through an interview with Under-Secretary of State for Mental Health Maria Caulfield.

Eamonn departed the studio with no explanation to viewers, leaving Isabel Webster, 41, to present the remaining 90 minutes alone.

A spokesperson for GB News later explained Eamonn’s exit, saying in a statement: “Eamonn had to finish a little earlier today as he was feeling unwell. He hopes to be back tomorrow.”

Eamonn personally updated fans the same week, sharing a dashing selfie of himself, with the caption: “Hard to stand up but next my aim is to walk. Off to a birthday party today. What about you?”

GB News airs weekdays from 6am.
