Strictly's Ellie Leach makes emotional Vito Coppola declaration after surprise reunion
Former Coronation Street star Ellie Leach won the 2023 series of Strictly Come Dancing with Vito Coppola.
Ellie Leach made an emotional confession about her Strictly Come Dancing partner Vito Coppola. The ex-Coronation Street star, 23, was crowned winner of the BBC competition alongside Vito in 2023.
The duo struck up a close bond during their time on the show and have remained good friends since. On Tuesday (July 9), Ellie took to Instagram to reveal that certain things aren't the same without her former partner.
The actress shared a photo of a Caffè Nero cup, a place the two of them likely visited in between training sessions. She added the caption: "It's never the same without you @vitocoppola."
In the following snap, Ellie shared a screenshot of some WhatsApp messages between her and Vito, showing the Italian dancer correctly guessing that she was in Caffè Nero.

"It's even the first place he says when I say guess where I am," she wrote. Ellie and Vito recently shared a heartwarming reunion in Manchester.
The 31-year-old enjoyed a fun day out with Ellie's family, documenting the occasion on Instagram. In one photo, Ellie and Vito could be seen enjoying a glass of wine and in another, Vito beamed for the camera as he posed alongside the soap star's family members.
"About last Sunday in Manchester," Vito captioned the post. "Lovely day." It comes after Vito's Strictly co-star Aljaž Škorjanec announced he would be returning for the BBC show's 20th anniversary.
The 34-year-old was a professional dancer on the series from 2013 until 2021. Aljaž has become a father since his departure, welcoming daughter Lyra in July 2023 with wife and former Strictly star Janette Manrara.

Of his return, Aljaž excitedly said: "I could not be more ecstatic to be back with the Strictly family! This year is such a special one for this legendary show, I can’t wait to be a part of it and make my return to the dancefloor.
"I had an absolute ball during my nine year stint on Strictly, during my time away I became a parent, which has been an exciting challenge in itself and now I’m ready to experience the Strictly magic again."
He added: "It feels so right to be coming back, I missed the fun, glitter and the judges of course and I hope to make my daughter Lyra proud!"
