Piers Morgan's 'excruciating' five-word reaction to US election debate as he slams Biden

Piers Morgan has dished his take on the televised US election debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump.

US election: Joe Biden derides Donald Trump over his weight

Piers Morgan has given his brutal take on the recent US presidential debate.

The former Good Morning Britain presenter stormed to X (formally Twitter) to comment on the televised debate, which aired on CNN on Thursday.

It saw Donald Trump go head to head with the current US president Joe Biden ahead of the November 5 election.

As the debate concluded, Piers fumed: "That US presidential debate was one of the most excruciating things I’ve ever watched.

"As I’ve been saying and writing for the past year, Joe Biden is physically and mentally unfit to serve as President. He has to stand down," he went on to state.

That wasn't the only thing the journalist had to say about the debate.

At one point during the debate, the two politicians were flexing their golf handicaps, which prompted Piers to make a hilarious comparison.

"If Biden’s a 6-handicapper then I’m the Archbishop of Canterbury," he quipped.

And the golf banter didn't stop there, as Piers went on to challenge Biden to a match.

"I’m a 16-handicapper and will bet $100,000 to a charity of President Biden’s choice that I can beat him with zero shots.

"In fact, I’ll give HIM a shot a hole," Piers wrote in another tweet.

The 2024 United States elections are scheduled to be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
