Tennis legend John McEnroe looks unrecognisable as he dons curly wig and iconic headband
A usually silver-haired John McEnroe looked unrecognisable in new snaps that saw him take on the spitting image of his younger self.

The 65-year-old sporting icon was pictured wearing the get-up at a tennis club in Surrey, presumably filming some pre-Wimbledon content ahead of the tournament, which kicks off tomorrow.
John, who sports a short crop of silver hair these days, looked almost unrecognisable in the retro tennis outfit. However, he did look uncannily similar to his younger self, who in decades past wore his hair in huge curly locks secured by the same red headband.
In snaps today, John could be seen wearing the wig and headband, as well as some white tennis shorts and a matching white polo shirt. He also opted for a black jacket to keep off the chill and some white tennis shoes.
He carried a bright orange tennis racket and added another pop of colour to his outfit with some bright red and white socks. In the pictures, he could be seen walking around the tennis courts at the Surry club and looked ready to hit some tennis balls.
