On Thursday night, Piers Morgan will come face to face with Nigel Farage as the two join Fiona Bruce on BBC’s Question Time. The duo will be answering questions from an invited audience in Surrey alongside Damian Hinds, Wes Streeting and Bishop of Dover Rose Hudson-Wilkin.

As the BBC show took to Twitter to inform their followers about the upcoming programme, Piers decided to share his thoughts on being reunited with the Reform UK founder. Resharing the tweet, the 59-year-old seemed to reignite his feud with Nigel Farage.

He wrote: “Well, this should be fun. Haven’t seen Farage since the little weasel tried to stab me in the back with Trump.” It wasn’t long before Piers’ followers commented on his post with many eager to see the reunion on the show.

Social media user @cirrus_pg said: “Definitely one to watch.” @adielivingitup commented: “Might have to watch this show, not watched it in years.”

@Ranked90 wrote: “Popcorn at the ready.” @LindaSmithBlai2 added: “May watch for the first time in months.”

With @bigev84 commenting: “This could be more than interesting!”

Their feud started a few years back when Piers accused Nigel of trying to sabotage his interview with Donald Trump.

In a scathing rant on his TalkTV show in 2022, the 59-year-old claimed Nigel had sent a dossier to the former president with a list of unpleasant things he had said about him over the years.

Calling Nigel a “treacherous little weasel”, Piers claimed his plot to try and ruin his interview backfired.

On his show at the time, Piers read some of the quotes that were given to the former president before standing by his comments.

He said: “To be clear, I meant what I said at the time and I stand by it all now. Understandably, Trump was angry, furious in fact.

“He cursed me as he read those quotes out and repeatedly threatened to cancel the interview.”

However, the 70-minute interview went ahead on TalkTV as part of the channel's global launch.

Following Piers' rant, Nigel responded to the backlash and detailed what had happened.

He said: “A few days ago, Morgan did the interview, I met with Trump and we went out for dinner afterwards.

“I said to him 'Morgan has gone around boasting in the UK media telling everybody that he is your friend, that he has got special privileged access, but in fact, behind your back, he has been stitching you up for a long time.

“'If you do this interview, here is the truth,' and I gave him a document."

Question Time continues Thursday on BBC One from 8pm.
