Rylan Clark exclusively spoke to Express.co.uk at this year's LGBT Awards in London as he addressed a possible collaboration between himself and Clive Myrie.

The pair have both had success with travel shows lately, with Rylan teaming up with celebrity barrister Rob Rinder for Rylan and Rob's Grand Tour, which saw the pair dress up in drag to storm the streets of Venice. Meanwhile, Clive took on everywhere from the vibrant streets of Cuba to his native island of Jamaica, even trying out stilts-walking, in Clive Myrie's Caribbean Adventure.

When we caught up with Rylan to reveal that the fellow TV star was keen to collaborate, he exclaimed: "I love Clive, I think he's amazing - maybe he can join me and Rob sometime." Asked whether he'd consider jetting to the Caribbean with him, he assured us: "Oh babe, if Clive's offering a holiday, I'll go!"

Clive had previously told us at this year's BAFTA TV Awards that Rylan would be the perfect sidekick for a show. Meanwhile, Rylan and Rob share a passion for travel and have already got plans for their next Grand Tour series underway.

Teasing a possible future travel location, he revealed: "I'd love to go somewhere like Japan because I'm really into technology!" It turns out that the country's Henn Na hotel chain - staffed by multilingual robots - would be right up his street.

Taking its name from the Japanese word for "strange" and typically operating on a ratio of around 80 robots to every 12 staff, it offers up everything from dinosaurs to dolls.

Manning the concierge desk is a robot with advanced voice recognition skills, who can identify guests by their voice prints alone and give out any information guests might need to know.

There's no doubt that this would appeal to Rylan, who revealed: "Oh yeah, I'm all about that, I want to be served by a robot!"

However, his next series with Rob will be taking them to different locations - ones which Rylan "can't possibly reveal" at this stage.

Suffice to say that it'll be an adventure, with Rylan revealing that he's also starting to amp up his acting ambitions at the minute.

We've seen him as a presenter and as a no-holds-barred reality star on the likes of Big Brother - but could Rylan see himself opting for a queer storyline on a period drama like Bridgerton?

Though it might be a million miles away from anything he's done so far, he's more than up for the challenge - and when asked who his perfect co-star would be, he declared: "Bring back Jonathan Bailey!"

Meanwhile, he also confessed that he regards Grand Tour co-star Rob as "an old nonna", joking that their Venice trip was "like going somewhere with your nan".

However, he added affectionately: "I love him dearly."
