, 41, and , 60, were spotted amongst a crowd of stars waiting to get into Wembley's OVO Arena after walking the red carpet for the ’s. This comes after the stars were accused of “skipping the queue” to see lying-in-state.

Holly and Phillip showed up to the star-studded NTAs separately tonight and were said to have joined a queue ahead of the event.

The pair previously caused outrage and set the hashtag “queuegate” trending on Twitter after they failed to join the twelve hour queue to see Queen Elizabeth II, despite other celebrities such as David Beckham joining the public to do so.

A source told The Sun: "Holly queuing up to go inside caused a few eyebrows to raise.

"She got a really warm reception on the red carpet and was greeting fans with a huge smile on her face.

"She had no issue with queuing once she was ushered inside and stood with her husband Dan Baldwin."

Phillip was also pictured queueing when he arrived after his ITV co-star Holly.

The star was running late for the event and was snapped queueing up to go inside the venue beside his daughter Molly.

A source told the same publication: "Phil was in good spirits - despite being crammed into a huge queue.

"No one said anything of course and he kept a low profile. He was with Molly and looked very relaxed.

"He didn't do any media interviews however and just arrived and queued up straight away to get inside."

Express.co.uk have contacted Holly, Phillip and the National Television Awards for comment.

Last month, Holly and Phillip faced major backlash when they were accused of queue jumping to see the Queen, leaving many viewers outraged at what they perceived to be a double standard due to their celebrity status.

Soon afterwards, This Morning released a statement on Instagram in view of their 2.5 million followers denying Holly and Phillip had “jumped the queue”.

They wrote: “Hello everyone, we would like to clarify something. We asked Phillip and Holly to be a part of a film for this Tuesday's programme.

“They did not jump the queue, have VIP access or file past the Queen lying in state, but instead, were there in a professional capacity as part of the world's media to report on the event.”

Holly also chose to address the controversy, telling her viewers: “Like hundreds of accredited broadcasters and journalists we were given official permission to access the hall.

"It was strictly for the purpose of reporting on the event for millions of people in the UK who haven’t been able to visit Westminster in person.

"The rules were that we would be quickly escorted around the edges to a platform at the back. In contrast, those paying respects walked along a carpeted area beside the coffin and were given time to pause.

"None of the broadcasters and journalists took anyone's places in the queue and no one filed past the Queen.

"We of course respected those rules however we realised that it may have looked like something else and therefore we totally understand the reaction. Please know that we would never jump a queue."

Holly and Phillip were nominated alongside their This Morning co-stars tonight for best Daytime TV show, where they competed against Loose Women, The Repair Shop and The Chase.

The show ended up winning in their NTA category, with the pair taking to the stage to accept the award.
