Nick Kyrgios overrules umpire during Felix Auger-Aliassime clash at Queen's Club
NICK KYRGIOS overruled umpire James Keothavong during his second-round clash with Felix Auger-Aliassime at Queen's Club.
Queen’s Championships: Nick Kyrgios displays impressive skills
Kyrgios was up to his old tricks once again as he copied Roger Federer's SABR (Secret Attack By Roger) and frequently used the controversial underarm serve.
While trailing 40-15 at 2-2 in the opening set, Kyrgios allowed Auger-Aliassime to have an ace which the line judge called out.
It was a great sense of sportsmanship from the Australian who could have easily taken the bonus point.
However, his mood soon turned sour towards the officials at 3-3 when a line judge did not call a deep forehand from Auger-Aliassime out.
The 23-year-old exclaimed: "How can you not call that out."
This was not the first time Kyrgios has fumed at the officials today.
Because rain disrupted the Queen's schedule earlier this week, Kyrgios was forced to play twice in one day.
During his earlier victory over lucky loser Roberto Carballes Baena, Kyrgios accused the umpire of "rigging" his tie.
He felt Carballes Baena had double-faulted on set point and completely lost his cool.
Kyrgios took to insulting umpire Fergus Murphy in retaliation.
“You’re a nutter," he said.
“And your hat looks ridiculous. Why are you wearing that it’s not even sunny? Don’t talk to me.
"I’m not going to put in 100 per cent if there are guys rigging the game.
“You’re taking the p**s, honestly taking the p**s. No wonder why I don’t try.
"It’s a double fault I don’t get it. Absolute joke."
