The Texans began the match and just five seconds later the game had to be stopped as Terrell received treatment.
The backup safety was accidentally caught in the head with a flailing leg on the opening kickoff.
Chiefs staff rushed to the field to his aid with the player clearly not moving.
Terrell’s team-mates took a knee while he received treatment but there was positive signs as the player was able to walk off the field.
The Chiefs swiftly confirmed Terrell would be out of the game after suffering a concussion.

Terrell will not enter the NFL’s concussion protocol.
He was a late addition to the Chiefs’ roster this summer after a stint with the Seattle Seahawks.
He has featured in three of Kansas City’s four games after missing the opening match against the New England Patriots.
