Barcelona news: Andres Iniesta reveals Man Utd anger, discusses controversial Chelsea win
BARCELONA legend Andres Iniesta has revealed Manchester United players were angry with the Catalan giants in 2011 - and also opened up about their controversial win over Chelsea two years previously.
“There were some things said during some games,” he told the Daily Mail.
“I don’t remember which players, but things like that were certainly said to us from time to time.”
Eric Abidal had heard United stars saying: “That’s enough, stop f***ing about. We’re dead.”
Two years before that, Barcelona had faced Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Michael Essien scored a thunderbolt for the Blues, who then had three penalty shouts turned down.

Barcelona then went through courtesy of a dramatic late Iniesta winner.
And the Vissel Kobe star feels that match was a turning point in his career.
“There are certain games that mark your career and for me, at club level, there are no bigger moments than that,” Iniesta added.
“Stamford Bridge was the most magical night of my club career.”
Iniesta was linked with moves to United and Chelsea last season as his Barcelona career wound down.

And, though a move to England would have appealed, he admits he could never handle life in the Premier League now.
“It would have been nice to play in England,” he said.
“A good experience. But I never imagined I would be better off anywhere else.
“Now I’m leaving Barcelona because my body is asking me to.
“It takes longer to recover and there are the mental demands I put on myself. It’s exhausting. I’ve squeezed out every last drop, there’s nothing left.”
