Klopp overruled
20:45: Jurgen Klopp wants to sign Roma goalkeeper Alisson.
But the Mirror claim Liverpool could overrule their manager and instead push for Jan Oblak.
Alisson is also wanted at Real Madrid but Liverpool appear favourites to sign him, with Real eyeing Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois.
Oblak has an £88m release clause at Atletico Madrid and is also attracting Arsenal’s attention.
And the report claims Liverpool’s top brass will look to do a deal for Oblak instead of Alisson.
Bayern eye Fekir
18:50: Bayern Munich want to sign Liverpool target Nabil Fekir.
That is the surprise report coming out of France today.
Fekir is understood to be on Liverpool’s transfer list for the summer.
The 24-year-old attacking midfielder is tipped to leave Lyon after the World Cup.
And L’Equipe claim that Bayern have made their interest in the France international known.
Martial to Liverpool
17:20: Liverpool are reportedly interested in Manchester United forward Anthony Martial.
The Liverpool Echo claim Martial is open to leaving Old Trafford this summer.
And a move to Anfield has not been ruled out.
Liverpool are already set to sign Naby Ketia from RB Leipzig this summer.
But a bid for Martial could also land in United’s inbox shortly.
Liverpool work on Fekir
17:00: Liverpool legend Jan Molby reckons his old side will be keen to have an agreement in place prior to the World Cup, where Nabil Fekir’s value could rise.
“There'll be more business to come, and Nabil Fekir is clearly a player they want and will hope to tie up a deal before the World Cup,” Molby told the Liverpool Echo.
“Fekir is very much in line with the attacking players we have at the club, at being able to handle the ball at a high tempo and play at a high tempo, being cute and with a sharp mind.
“I would be amazed if there are not other big clubs interested, but Liverpool are slowly making their way back not only to the top of the English game, but the top of the European game.
“There will be more and more of those top players keen on joining them.”
Alisson decision
16:30: Jurgen Klopp has made his mind up on which goalkeeper Liverpool will target this summer.
Roma’s Alisson and Jan Oblak of Atletico Madrid are both on Liverpool’s radar.
But the Liverpool Echo claim Klopp has settled on a deal for Alisson.
The Brazilian shot-stopper could cost the Reds as much as £70m this summer and also has Real Madrid on his tail.
