Real Madrid news: Zinedine Zidane defends Isco after substitution reaction
ZINEDINE ZIDANE has played down rumours of Isco being unhappy at Real Madrid.
Isco was not happy after being substituted for Real Madrid
Despite the departure of fellow attacker James Rodriguez, the star has still found gametime hard to come by at the Spanish outfit this season.
Isco's frustrations boiled over earlier this week when Zidane substituted the midfielder against Espanyol.
After an ineffective display, the 25-year-old was visibly displeased when the Madrid boss removed him with 20 minutes remaining.
But after the 1-0 defeat, Zidane defended Isco's actions, insisting he is happy at Los Blancos.
"I don't think it was anything abnormal," he told reporters.

He wasn't happy about coming off, but that's the case with most players
"He wasn't happy about coming off, but that's the case with most players.
"He has a great attitude, trains well and everyone at the club loves him.
"There's nothing to worry about there.
"If a player is angry about being substituted then that is normal."
Isco has been linked with a move away from Madrid in the summer and Premier League duo Chelsea and Manchester City have been heavily touted as a potential destination for the playmaker.
