That’s the verdict of BBC Sport pundit Danny Murphy, who says failing to help his team-mates at the back is a "psychological" dilemma for the Frenchman to overcome.
Pogba has been involved in three wins with United since returning from a hamstring injury when they faced Newcastle two weeks ago.
And he’ll be hoping they can add to that and put the pressure on Premier League leaders Manchester City when they visit Arsenal on Saturday (5.30pm).
Pogba’s presence has been instrumental in helping United rediscover their attacking prowess during their past three top flight matches.
It’s a psychological thing
Speaking after United's 4-2 win over Watford though, Murphy identified a weakness in Pogba's game.
"I had to learn how to be a defensive midfielder," Murphy explained on BBC Radio 5 Live on Tuesday night.
"You have to spot the danger.

"It’s part of the job and he’s not great at that.
"He’s brilliant at everything else, but he doesn’t want to defend.
"It’s a psychological thing."
United can close the gap on local rivals City to five points this weekend if they beat Arsenal and Pep Guardiola’s men lose to West Ham.
