Aston Villa news: Steve Bruce makes heartbreaking admission about Jonathan Kodjia
ASTON VILLA manager Steve Bruce has admitted Jonathan Kodjia feels “terrible” about his injury woes.

Kodjia is set for an extended spell on the sidelines after damaging his ankle while on international duty with Ivory Coast.
The 28-year-old missed the start of the campaign after breaking the same ankle at the end of last season.
He will undergo surgery after Villa sought opinions from two specialists.
When asked how Kodjia was feeling, Bruce replied: “He’s feeling terrible.
“We thought he was fine when he went onto international duty.

“He had twisted his ankle before but he was fine.
“They (Ivory Coast) stepped him up and he was going to play for his country.
“They put the work into him on the Wednesday but unfortunately he broke down.
“We’ve had all sorts of tests.

“He was in France over the weekend and London on Monday.
“They’ve both confirmed that we need to operate again unfortunately.
Villa have managed just fine without Kodjia in their last two games.
Bruce’s side have picked up maximum points thanks to wins against QPR and Sunderland.
