Aston Villa owner Tony Xia wants an improved performance on Saturday
Albert Adomah and Josh Onomah struck either side of the break before Lewis Grabban’s consolation for the Black Cats, who were under the management of Chris Coleman for the first time.
But Villa laboured to all three points against the Championship’s bottom club, and Xia expects a better performance against Ipswich on Saturday.
“A win is a win,” he wrote on Twitter. “We need do better Saturday!
“Come on, lads!”
Xia also slammed “Villa haters”, who he claims have been sharing false information about him.
“Some Villa haters went extremely ugly by spreading rumors around saying I was caught in trouble and escaped away, made the public listed companies' minor shareholders panic to drop stocks,” he said.
