Chelsea news: Eden Hazard will miss Diego Costa, they were almost telepathic - Pearce
EDEN HAZARD will miss Diego Costa at Chelsea.
Hazard's INCREDIBLE touch and turn against Nottingham Forest
That is the view of former England Under-21 coach Stuart Pearce.
Chelsea finally put an end to their ongoing saga with Diego Costa after agreeing to sell him back to Atletico Madrid yesterday.
The Spain international will join up with the La Liga giants in January subject to passing a medical and agreeing personal terms.
But despite being granted his wish to re-sign for Atletico, Pearce reckons Diego Costa will be missed by Eden Hazard.
“I’m sad to see him leave these shores because I think he’s been sensational over the last few years,” Pearce told Sky Sports’ The Debate.
I think him and Hazard, Hazard might miss him a lot
“I know some people don’t like his mannerisms on a football pitch.
“I think him and Hazard, Hazard might miss him a lot.
“I think they were almost telepathic last year the way they played, the interaction between the two.”
Eden Hazard and Costa formed a formidable partnership at Chelsea and played a pivotal part in their Premier League title triumph.

Alvaro Morata has been bought into try and fill the void left by Costa and he has started well by scoring three goals in his opening five games.
But Pearce reckons if Chelsea fail to deliver this season without Costa then the decision to let him go could be brought in to question.
“If [Alvaro] Morata does well you won’t spare a thought for Costa,” Pearce added.
“If Chelsea fail to deliver and win nothing you will look at this decision and ask if it was the right one.”
