Paris Saint-Germain forked out a staggering £200million for Neymar and will pay Monaco £166m next summer for Kylian Mbappe after his season-long loan.
While Barcelona spent a mammoth £96m on winger Ousmane Dembele from Borussia Dortmund, which will eventually rise to £132m with add-ons.
And Chelsea goalkeeper Courtois believes the “crazy” fees spent in the summer do not represent the players’ true worth.
"The market now is a bit crazy,” Courtois told Sky Sports.

The market now is a bit crazy
"Really high prices for players who maybe don't have that value.
“It makes it hard for teams to buy players for the right price.
"But after all I think Chelsea did a good job and I think we have a good squad to face the season."
Chelsea broke their transfer record to bring in striker Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid, spending £60m on the Spain international.
Morata was joined by Tiemoue Bakayoko, Danny Drinkwater, Antonio Rudiger, Davide Zappacosta and Willy Caballero at Stamford Bridge, who cost a combined £135m.
