Griezmann to Man Utd update, West Ham agree £8m deal, Chelsea snub £10m Bournemouth bid
EXPRESS SPORT brings you the latest transfer news.
The best and worst of France star Antoine Griezmann
Atletico Madrid's president has emphatically claimed Manchester United target Antoine Griezmann will remain at Atletico Madrid ‘for a long time’.
The France forward has been strongly linked with a summer move to Old Trafford but Enrique Cerezo insists the 25-year-old won't be leaving any time soon.
"I don’t know what the interest from Manchester will be," Cerezo told television show Minuto.
"I can say that Griezmann will be an Atletico player for a long time."
West Ham have had an £8m bid for Jose Fonte accepted by Southampton.
According to the Daily Mail, talks are expected over Fonte's personal terms with a £65,000-per-week contract to be thrashed out.
Manchester United are very keen to sign Antoine Griezmann
Earlier this month the Saints captain signalled his intention to leave the St Mary's when he submitted a transfer request.
Everton and Manchester United have been linked with a move for the 33-year-old but appear set to miss out.
Jose Fonte wants to leave Southampton
Chelsea have reportedly turned down an offer of around £10m for goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
The Bosnian had been forced to play second fiddle to Thibaut Courtois since joining from Stoke in 2015.
The Telegraph claim the Cherries are likely to make an improved offer but Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is keen to keep Begovic at Stamford Bridge.
