Garry Monk discusses Rob Green howler and penalty claim in Leeds loss to Newcastle
GARRY MONK insists Leeds United should have had a penalty during their 2-0 defeat to Newcastle today - and that they gifted the visitors their opening goal.
And Monk was left to rue the two key incidents from the first half.
"We gave them a goal, so obviously that against a good side makes it difficult,” Monk told Sky Sports.

"There was a clear-cut penalty for us, the handball.
"I'm happy with my team's effort, obviously I'm disappointed with the result but it doesn't change anything for us.
"I think one goal would have changed the whole complexion of the game for us."
