The 21-year-old, who came through the ranks at the Nou Camp before joining the Gunners in 2011, has been heavily linked with a return to his old club.
It is claimed Barca are in need of a new right-back with Aleix Vidal’s future in doubt after making just one La Liga appearance so far this season.

Barcelona have reportedly been out priced by Arsenal for Hector Bellerin
And Bellerin has been earmarked by manager Luis Enrique as the perfect man to replace him.
Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo claim Bellerin’s camp are waiting on contact from Barca over a dream return and the Spaniard has even asked if Gunners boss Arsene Wenger will remain at the Emirates beyond next summer.
However, it is said hopes of a return could be off the cards with Spanish champions put off by Bellerin’s cost, which is reportedly around £40million.
Mundo Deportivo say Barca could now turn their attention to Malaga’s Roberto Rosales instead.
