West Ham make Sunderland sweat over Diafra Sakho after two striker snubs
WEST HAM will not sell Diafra Sakho until they sign a replacement striker - but club bosses are struggling to close out deals, according to reports.
Diafra Sakho is not for sale unless West Ham find a replacement
The Hammers have £30million ring-fenced to sign on a top-class hitman this summer.
Manager Slaven Bilic is said to be keen on landing a strike partner for Andy Carroll for next season.
But bids for Carlos Bacca and Michy Batshuayi have come to nothing.
West Ham are said to have already snubbed an £11m bid from Sunderland for Senegal international Sakho.
Sakho, 26, scored just seven goals for West Ham last season and started just six games in 2016.
He arrived from Metz in a £3.5m deal two years ago and is said to be open to leaving the east London club.
As for Bilic's transfer plans, Chelsea successfully completed a £32m deal to land Belgium international Batshuayi after Marseille rejected an offer from West Ham.
And Bacca wants to remain at AC Milan or join a club that can offer Champions League football.
