Newcastle boss speaks out on Moussa Sissoko transfer: Man Utd, Liverpool and Spurs keen
RAFA BENITEZ has revealed he has not slapped a £35m price tag on Moussa Sissoko - because he doesn't want to sell him at all.
Moussa Sissoko - 5 things you need to know
Sissoko admitted yesterday that he wants to leave Newcastle in a hurry after they were relegated from the Premier League last season.
According to French newspaper Le10Sport, Manchester United are the biggest club to show an interest in the player although that will depend on whether they can secure Paul Pogba.
But Benitez is adamant that he will try to hang onto the 26-year-old this summer ahead of their Championship campaign.
And Jurgen Klopp is also said to be considering a bid to strengthen his Liverpool squad.
Sissoko helped France reach the final of Euro 2016 and was one of the best players on the pitch as they were beaten 1-0 in extra time by Portugal.
"I'm really disappointed because [France] couldn't win the final," Benitez added.
"I was really pleased for [Sissoko] though, because he was doing really well."
