Riyad Mahrez - Spotlight on
Arsenal have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Leicester star Riyad Mahrez.
The 25-year-old PFA Player of the Year has enjoyed a fruitful campaign and has played a huge part in the Foxes fairytale Premier League triumph.
And his impressive form has attracted the interest of a host of top clubs including the Gunners, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.
However, Leicester chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha has quashed rumours of the Algeria international leaving the club after holding talks with Mahrez.
He said: "We're relaxed about it. Mahrez said to me 'Don't worry'. He wants to stay."
Riyad Mahrez, Mathieu Flamini, Vincent Janssen
Meanwhile, Mathieu Flamini looks to be on his way out of Arsenal.
That is according to the Evening Standard, who claim Greek side Panathinaikos have begun preliminary talks with Flamini's representatives over a move.
The 32-year-old, who's contract at Arsenal expires at the end of the season, is understood to be open to a move to Greece.
However, in order for a move to Panathinaikos to materialise it is understood Flamini will have to take a pay-cut on his current £60,000-a-week wages with the Greek side said to be unwilling to meet his salary demands.
Finally, Arsenal are monitoring Dutch striker Vincent Janssen.
The 21-year-old has been impressing for AZ Alkmaar this season with 26 goals in 33 games to his name, and his performances have attracted interest from the Gunners.
And according to the Daily Mirror, Wenger has identified the young forward as an ideal candidate to bolster his attacking options in the summer.
