Lucas Vazquez (left) has played second fiddle to Gareth Bale all season
Vazquez, 24, has started just eight games all season for Real.
He is behind Gareth Bale in head coach Zinedine Zidane's selection plans and looks unlikely to become a regular starter any time soon.
Bale remains a fixed feature of Zidane's starting XI and Vazquez has only recently earned starts in his place as the Welshman recovers from a calf injury.
Bale has started but not completed Real's last four outings.
The Real academy product made 39 appearances for Espanyol that campaign and returned to Madrid with high hopes of securing regular first-team football.
But he has largely been consigned to the bench this season and it is claimed a move to Anfield could happen if Liverpool stump up the £10m asking price.
