Man Utd want Pochettino: Club chief taking advice before entering Tottenham talks
MANCHESTER UNITED will seek advice from 'influential people' before entering into talks with Tottenham over snapping up manager Mauricio Pochettino, according to reports.
Express Sport understands Dutchman Van Gaal could lose his job after a second season of disappointment at Old Trafford.
Woodward's first appointment after Sir Alex Ferguson left his managerial post - David Moyes - lasted just 10 months in the job and Van Gaal is set to end his tenure a year ahead of schedule.
It is thought Woodward is determined to get the right man this time and is doing plenty of research on both Pochettino and Mourinho before making his play.
