James Rodriguez has struggled for form at Real Madrid
The 24-year-old has struggled to find his best form for Real Madrid.
Recent reports suggest Jose Mourinho, who is widely expected to replace Louis van Gaal at Manchester United in the summer, wants to bring the midfielder to Old Trafford.
It is thought Real are holding out for a fee of £63million.
Rodriguez, who impressed in Colombia’s 3-1 win over Ecuador in their 2018 World Cup qualifier, admits he gets more ‘support’ when he plays for his country.
"I wanted to have scored, but I am happy with these two games."
Rodriguez is expected to be on the bench for Real’s El Clasico showdown with Barcelona tomorrow (7:30pm).
